- Meet and end at Leuchars Train Station Saturday 8th of November (also has a large car park for £1 a day)
- Time: Arrive for 9:30 am; trains with bike places arrive / depart every hour
(We aim to return to Leuchars station by early afternoon)
- Distance: 30 km round trip
- Pace: We will ride at a social pace - this means no one will be dropped as part of the group and regular stops are programmed for rest and nature watching opportunities
- Route: A mixed-terrain route from Leuchards station, taking in the Eden Estuary, through Tentsmuir Forest, along the coast via - Tayport sands and finally to Morton Lochs

What to bring?
- A gravel or mountain style bike - this terrain will not be suitable for road bikes
- Please bring and wear a helmet
- Bike lights
- Puncture repair kit / bike tools
- Plenty of warm and waterproof layers - we cannot book the weather, unfortunately!
- Snacks and water to keep you going
- We have planned a lunch stop, so please bring means for buying something, or bring your own with you if you prefer
- Binoculars / camera / telescope, as you desire

With a passion for ecology and photography, Espen has spent over a decade traveling the globe honing his skills to capture breathtaking images of wildlife and landscapes. His stunning images reveal a deep appreciation for the beauty and complexity of the natural world, and his skillful use of light and composition creates images that are both powerful and intimate. In addition to his photography work, Espen is also a filmmaker, with a particular focus on natural wildlife photography, and his films are celebrated for their powerful storytelling and stunning visuals.
Espen's passion for wildlife photography and conservation is evident in all of his work, and his dedication to capturing and sharing the beauty of the natural world has made him a respected and admired figure in the photography community. Whether in front of the camera or behind it, Espen is committed to using photography to tell stories of the natural world, and help others experience it too.
Naomi has worked in the environmental sector for over 10 years, leading groups, events and sessions in a variety of settings to encourage people to learn more about their local nature-spots and how to engage with them. Naomi is both a Cycling UK trained Cycle Leader and has an Outdoor First Aid training qualification so will lead this cycle in a way that will keep everyone as safe as possible.
Travelling by bike allows people to see, smell, feel and hear the elements we're surrounded by, and more closely notice all the non-human species that call it home.
