They'll lead you to some of the region's most remote and unspoiled areas, where you'll encounter an incredible variety of iconic species, from soaring birds of prey to the nimble and striking ibex and the elusive Iberian lynx.

With their guidance, you'll learn the secrets of capturing stunning images of wildlife in their natural habitat, from mastering the use of light and composition to choosing the right camera settings and lenses. Whether you're an experienced wildlife photographer or just starting out, our guides will provide personalised instruction and tips to help you capture the shots of a lifetime.




Tour Itinerary 

Here's just a taste of what you'll experience on this 7-day guided wildlife photography trip to Andalusia, Spain:

Arrival in Malaga and transfer to Ronda. We’ll head out at sunset to photograph Red-billed chough as they return to their night roost. Hotel in Ronda.





Day 1:

We’ll spend the morning in Alvaro’s Montejaque Hide photographing species such as cirl bunting and Sardinian warbler. Then catch Griffon Vultures in flight. Finally we’ll visit Alvaro´s Majoleto Hide where we’ll photograph species such as black wheatear and rock bunting backlit. Hotel in Ronda.





Day 2:

We’ll take a daytrip to Cadiz province where we’ll focus on photographing wader species such as black winged stilts and sanderlings. On returning to Ronda we’ll stop off for some landscape photography at sunset. Hotel in Ronda.





Day 3:

A day at El Torcal de Antequera to photograph the Iberian Ibex. Learn the best techniques to photograph these majestic endemic animals. As they navigate rocky cliffs and mountain slopes, you'll have the opportunity to capture incredible action shots and breathtaking portraits. This will also be the height of the ibex mating season. Hotel in Andújar.





Day 4:

We´ll spend the day in the Iberian Lynx Hide (morning + evening). Hotel in Andújar.





Day 5:

We´ll spend the day Iberian Lynx Hide (morning + evening). Hotel in Andújar.





Day 6:

Otter photography by the river. Transfer to Málaga end of tour.

What to expect

For the three first days, you'll be based in Ronda in a charming, comfortable and friendly Andalusian-style hotel close to the famous Puente Nuevo bridge. Located in the heart of the town, the Bull Ring and the historic old town are a stone’s throw away, along with plenty of excellent restaurants ensuring there is delicious local cuisine and opportunities to relax and recharge between shoots. 

For the remaining three days we’ll stay at a hotel in Andújar, situated at the foot of the Sierra Morena Mountains. The Sierras de Andujar Nature Park, which includes the city, has a Mediterranean ecosystem with diverse wildlife.

We'll take care of all transportation during the trip, so you can focus on your photography and enjoy the experience to the fullest.

Expert guided wildlife photography tour in spectacular Andalusia

Andalusia is a land of wild and untamed beauty, where the natural world unfolds in a breathtaking spectacle of life and colour. 

On this 7-day guided tour in November 2025, you'll have the rare privilege of experiencing some of the region's most iconic wildlife:


These agile and majestic creatures are a true highlight of the tour. With their long, curved horns and distinctive coloring, they make for a captivating photography subject. We'll be visiting El Torcal de Antequera, one of the best places in the region to spot and photograph these incredible animals.

Wildlife highlights

Iberian Ibex: 

With their impressive wingspan and sharp eyesight, these magnificent birds of prey are a thrilling sight to behold. We'll be visiting several locations where these impressive birds are known to gather, including the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park and "El Chorro."

Griffon Vultures:

One of the world's most endangered cat species, is a captivating wild feline. Smaller and more spotted than its Eurasian lynx relative, this unique cat is distinguished by its black facial ruff, tufted ears, and its primary prey - rabbits.


The Iberian lynx:

With expert guidance from our experienced wildlife photography guides, you'll learn the best techniques for capturing stunning images of these incredible creatures, as well as the subtle details that make each species unique. How do I book?

You’ll be picked up and dropped off at or near Malaga airport. Alternatively, you can meet us in Ronda.





Are transfers included?

Camera, lenses, binoculars, tripod/beanbag, batteries, memory cards…




What gear should I bring?

Comfortable clothing for photography, it can get a bit cool in the mornings and evenings so a jacket and waterproofs in case of rain




What kind of clothing should I wear?

Average temperature high of 18°C to a low of 10°C Chance of rain showers.




What’s the weather like in November?

Travel insurance is required and it’s recommended that you insure your camera equipment



Do I need insurance?

A minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 people




How many people will be on the tour?

Depends on what we are photographing on the day, on some days we will be out before sunrise and photographing at sunset



What time will we start each day?

Hotel in Ronda and Hotel in Andújar



Where will I be staying?

  • Typical andalusian breakfasts (coffee and toasts) will be taken in a bar as hotels generally don’t serve early breakfast.
  • Lunch will be usually taken at specific “ventas”, establishments for a consistent day-menu. Alternatively, tapas or picnics will be provided.
  • There will be a farewell dinner included in the price. The remaining 5 dinners are your choice as they are free time - though we are very happy to recommend good restaurants nearby the hotel.  





What will the food be like?

Are we guaranteed to see wildlife?

No, some of the species such as lynx and otters are highly likely, but not guaranteed.
